Here is my latest stash of chocolate: a bag full of little baby cars, minus a couple I already ate. They're just the perfect size for one serving to satisfy my chocolate craving and I eat one a day, like vitamins. Hopefully this will last me until Easter....ha,ha,,, yeah I know it actually won't. HA! I still have that god-awful headache I've had for the past 3 days. My hubby thinks it's just an "excuse" to NOT (you know, nik-nik) but I honest-to-God DO have this horrible awful pounding throbbing headache that it just relentless and gets worse every time I change position from sitting, laying, standing up, bending over, etc. It feels like ice-picks in my head, like something's going to explode and I have to lie down and just want to sleep.

This is also a photo the 23 YR old send from Paris, no explanation needed. She said it was an 11 HR flight for her and with the time-difference( it must be a 7-8 HR difference for her since it was a 4-5 hour difference for me and in BC she's 3 hours behind us) she's really tired. My trick for adjusting to different time zones is going to sleep for like 15 hours and then I've adjusted when I wake up.

Yesterday Buddy also somehow wandered off and ended up down in the basement, even though I always keep the door closed for that reason(despite my hubby taunting me he'll never go down there) but someone must have left it open and he went down, and he must have fallen down the stairs, too, as he can barely even walk now so there's no way he could have gone down the stairs, plus they're also really steep, too. I'm just so glad he didn't get hurt....or worse. I heard him barking, the bark when he's stuck and needs me to come rescue him, so I went and couldn't find him but kept following the bark and it led me downstairs and there he was, much to my shock and surprise.....wedged in-between part of the furnace!
How the hell did he get there?
It must be like dementia or Alzheimers or something, the poor old guy,.
Everything is now also coated in a thick layer of ice and over 100 K people in the province have no electricity and yesterday as I was sitting out on the front veranda smoking mi face off I heard this really loud craaaccck and I thought a squirrel was falling off the roof but it was a frozen ice-ladden tree branch that fell off our tree and landed in the driveway right beside me so it's a good thing my hubby parked the car across the street and also that he didn't get the snow tires taken off yet, too!
It looks really pretty out there but it's also very hazardous.
These photos might look a bit blurry or "fuzzy" because I took them from my bedroom window and there's a screen on there, plus I also had to hold the other window up on top of my head to take the shot so it wouldn't fall down and I was kind of wobbly.
Oh, the things I do and the sacrifices I make, ha,ha.
This is also the new cute chicken( or maybe it's actually a rooster since it has the funny ball-sack thing on its head) the 30 YR old has in his room. Maybe it's for Easter?I noticed it the other day when I was in his room talking to him about something. I like it and think it's cute so I put it up on my blog. Below is also a shawl I like but will never buy because I'm tired of getting ripped-off online.

Nostalgia is one hell of a drug.
