Helter Swelter.

It's still soooo hot we broke another record yesterday and even overnight it was still 27 C! Today is supposed to go up to 29 C or 30 C but not as humid. I missed being outside for the past 3 days and the days feel so "long" being stuck inside and even indoors the temp is 27 C even with the A/C and my hubby finally DID call the furnace guys to come and do the yearly check-up yesterday and cleaning and they actually came later yesterday too as I was watching the news! Last year it took 3 months to get an app't! Luckily everything is ok which surprised me since it's so hot inside but the guy( who was so young and looked like a teenager!) said it just can't keep up with the high humidity(my indoor potted palm tree loves it, me not so much) and once that lessens it should be able to "catch up" and cool down. Luckily we're still on the plan my mother had from last year so it was all covered,too! I also at least don't have to worry anymore about my hubby using up all the hot water in the morning for his shower leaving me none for my bath now since it's so hot I hardly even use any; mostly just cold! To cool down I also often wet my hair, too. The radio DJ also said his pool temp is 87 F and no heater; that's just from the sun!

I also got peonies and these ones are my fave: the light pink ones,  and Beja with his pink skin(which gets even pinker when he's hot) and brown & white fur also reminds me of Neopolitan ice cream and I had to cut his nails again yesterday as well as they kept catching on my clothes and on blankets, etc. and scratching me and he also keeps chewing on them so I think they must be bothering him as well and he was better than last time but still tried to bite me a couple of times and it really pisses me off; Buddy never used to bite me; he didn't like having his nails cut but he accepted it and laid on his back on my lap and let me do it because he trusted me. Pretty much every day after the 30 YR old finishes work his GF comes over as well and it's like she practically lives here and it's really annoying and she brought her dog over again who had a haircut at the groomers and she mentioned something as well about "having to spend 1200$(at the vet) only to find out he had a kibble stuck up his nose" and it surprised me at the expense and wonder where she gets the $$$ from?

To be less sweaty I also had to sleep in just my underwear last night(and hoping if I died in my sleep my hubby would at least dress me before calling EMS!) and in the day I also "flip" my shirt up over my head as well so it's turned around my shoulders  and neck (shown here)leaving basically all my chest and back exposed for maximum cooling effect and Israel briefly broke the ceasefire ( no surprise here)but it seems to be holding precariously for now, and PM Carney also signed an agreement with the EU for a partnership for trade and defense, moving away from dependence on USA which is a smart idea.

This is also the picture on my calendar for the month, palm trees, my fave. one,  and I like the anklets and bangles below,and I heard on the radio as well about Micro Mania Midget Wrestling (so redneck and exploitative, I know) and at first I thought they said Romanian midget wrestling and thought to myself, "So not only are they midget, but Romanian, too!" and there was some comment too about "putting the spring in your step" and I sadly realized that ever since Buddy died nothing will ever "put the spring" back in my step again.

 I simply don't get any joy out of life or out of living anymore.

I just merely exist, waiting until I die.

Let me be completely honest, it felt like it was time for me to let myself give up.-JC
