Check out this glorious chicken lasagna I cooked yesterday! Just look at that perfect golden brown crust, all hard, crispy and crunchy! Yummmm!! I was also so out-of-focus for some reason yesterday I did a load of laundry in the morning like I usually do.....but then completely forgot all about it until my hubby mentioned it later after work(around 4pm) and then by the time I remembered again it was 12 HRS until I put it in the dryer! Pfffffttt! We also had 2 guys telling us they'd come and fix our fence but no one showed up but my hubby said he did hear from the second guy (I call Don Fenceman or Mr. Fenceman) who is waiting for a friend he needs to help but said he IS coming.....but I won't hold my breath and I just hope he get it fixed sometime before the end of summer.
It was also soooo hot yesterday (July generally is the hottest month of the year) and we even had a severe thunderstorm AND tornado risk(and yes, my hubby still DID play pickleball despite it) but nothing happened; it just got really humid and really windy but it must have passed over us. My hubby also said he's going to visit the youngest and his friends camping today which he never has before and I found unusual but he said this time they're actually doing real camping out in the woods in a tent(and not in the camper like usual) and they don't know how to make a campfire and need his help(and asked him to bring them a pizza,too) I find odd; I mean, how hard is it? You get a bunch of sticks/logs and you light it on fire. I think they're making it more complicated than it needs to be.I still remember too at our YMCA group in Ottawa that time we had a Christmas In July party and R brought in a whole turkey and the last time I saw her was when the group folded and she was going on a first date with a Romanian guy.....
and then several years later I ran into her again at a homeschooling conference and she had married that Romanian guy ( so I guess the first date must have gone well) and has kids. How awesome is that?
Yesterday I also saw online someone ask what religion Jeff Goldblum is and I answered, Really? With a name like Goldblum what do you think? The 30 YR old also finally got his new birth certificate to replace his lost one and now they look soooo different and no longer on paper like they used to be but that shiny plastic like the $$$ and it's blue and all shiny and looks like the 5$ bill! it's also twice the size they used to be and digital and it just blew me away and I couldn't stop staring at it. It also has those shiny things on it like the passport. I've never seen anything like it.
I'm so old, ha,ha.
Beja also peed and shit in the bathroom but I couldn't really get mad at him because technically he is right and I think I might know why: he must pick up on the pissy scent on the floor next to the toilet from when the guys pee but miss the toilet and a few days ago he missed jumping up on the bed and hit his chest and bounced off yelping so since then he's been scared and won't jump up on the bed anymore...so my hubby got this clever idea to use my hippopottaman (shown here) for him to use as stairs and now he jumps up onto that first and then up onto the bed and the teen that was stabbed to death near Woodbine Park(I used to go to Woodbine Beach and it was so close I could walk) in my old neighbourhood in Toronto was only 14,too, and it used to be a nice area but has since turned into a ghetto over the decades so I guess it's good that we didn't stay.
I wanna be stupid rich, I'm already stupid so I'm halfway there.-17 on X
