My hubby started to put up the outdoor Christmas lights as he only really has the weekends to do it when he has time he's not working and also has more daylight. We turn them on when we have the Santa Claus Parade and this year it's not until 30 November ( normally it's around the 23rd or 24th) giving him extra time. I think this year might end up being the last ,however, as I'll probably be dead by next Christmas(hopefully!) and I know how eager my hubby is to sell the house. Last night as I was sitting outside looking up at the stars I also saw a shooting star.
I made a wish.
I bet you can guess what it was.
A neighbour also said he saw a coyote (I've seen a fox, hawks, eagles, and falcons myself) which is exactly why I don't ever let Beja go outside alone, not even on the backyard porch, and why it gets me nervous every time the 31 YR old lets him run off-leash at the dog park; being a tiny Chihuahua he's easy bait for predators. I remember a friend in California one of her dogs got killed by one.Another friend also asked me if I'm going to "let him keep both his balls" too, and I said OF COURSE.
Poor Beja.
I also gave him one of my Oodies (I have 4 of them) to burrow into and snuggle up and keep warm, like a sleeping bag.
I also discovered my new addictive snack: Goldfish crackers crisps sour cream & onion and they're like crack cocaine; you just can't stop eating them and I also discovered if you turn them tail-side down it looks like a butt plug. 😂
Yesterday when I woke up from my nap my throat also felt "funny" like it does just before I get a cold, and my ears were all "clogged" as well, like you get when you dive deep down into the water and then suddenly pop back up, or like sometimes when you're flying upon descent, and I feel even extra tired than usual, too, so I probably picked up some virus last week at the mall or the concert.
My neck, back, and stomach are also extra bad as well.
If nothing hurt I would think I was dead.
Shortly after I woke up it started to snow, and now we have a snow dust on the car(pictured here), and now they say we're expected to get 10-20 cm.
Not bad for our first snowfall of the season, huh?
It’s hard when no one in your life truly understands how painful this kind of loss is.-Maria Huhmataki
