This is Beja every time someone comes to our door but yesterday it was a good thing as he kept circling the front door barking so I went to see if someone was there and opened the door and the mail lady was there with the 19 YR old's new passport(you have to sign for) and I said to her, "I'm glad he was barking to let me know because I never heard the doorbell!"(thinking I just didn't hear it) and she sheepishly goes, Oh....yeah....sorry about that.... admitting that she never even rang it(but he just picked up the scent and knew someone was at the door and alerted me, GOOD BOY!!) and was just planning on leaving the note on the door for him to go down to the post office to pick it up like they often do because they're too lazy even though it's their job but she got busted by my dog!
HA!
He's a gut little bodyguard and watchdog!
The 19 YR old also didn't want to keep his passport in the safe(which is also fire-proof) with all the other documents, keeping it safe from getting lost( like how he lost 2-3 of his other documents because he didn't) and the new ones are just sooooo cool now, too, all shiny and holographic and even have one hard page on it like plastic and all biometric and shit. They look really cool now! He also filled out the Emergency Contact part as my hubby( I've always been an non-entity in this family) even though "seasoned" travellers know NOT to actually fill that part out in case you get taken hostage somewhere because that way you've just given the hostage-takers the name and contact info of someone you love they can use as leverage.

This is also Maya, the 12 YR old who was shot in the school shooting back in Feb. and she's been moved out of the ICU into a rehab centre now but it's just so sad that this is how she is now; part of her skull missing, partially paralyzed and blind in one eye and can't speak or eat, esp. since she was once such an active, sporty girl. It just breaks my heart and when you look in her eye you can even see the sadness. She must feel so trapped in her own body. To tell you the truth if it was me I'd much rather be dead. This Shithole is also trying to ban all social media for kids under 16 like Australia did I think is a Fascist Nanny-State thing to do; monitoring/limiting kids' access to social media is up to the parents, NOT the State, and yesterday morning at 5 am I smelled the strong overwhelming stench of skunk that filled my entire room and this morning at 5:30 am I could strongly smell what smelled like someone frying up bacon and I thought it was my hubby.....but no one was even up yet.
It was so weird.
Yesterday I also finished raking up the decomposed wet leaves left on the porch under the snow now it all melted away and my back is just killing me and I also probably inhaled a bunch of toxic fungi, mould, and spores but at least now Beja can't eat crap off the carpet anymore, and it's supposed to rain tomorrow on Good Friday as well and I still remember my mother always saying it rains on Good Friday because God is crying. We also have a flood watch as with all the melted snow and heavy rain the local river is at risk of overflowing.
Have you ever cried because you're you???-Anxiety
