Yesterday on Facebook I got this reminder from 2 years ago show up in my feed so I re-posted it to share with others and my cousin B commented about my mother:
"She looked like her mother A".
It just left me stunned.
Wait a minute....that doesn't sound right.
That doesn't feel right.
I replied, "Her mother's name wasn't A. It was E. You must be thinking of Aunt A."
and she told me that there are TWO people with the name A; my grandmother( my mother's mother) and Aunt A who married my grandmother's brother Uncle B(my mother was born on his 21st birthday!) and who lived her entire life in Europe, but I never remember my mother telling me her mother(my grandmother's) name was A.
I remember it was E.
I just remember Aunt A (I would write her letters)and if they both had the same name I'm pretty sure I'd remember that.
Both her parents died when I was 2 or 3 so I don't remember them and my cousin then said that my mother's grandmother(so that would be my Great-grandmother) was named E, not MY grandmother.
I can remember my mother telling me about her grandparents that they had 6 kids: 4 boys and 2 girls, some born in Europe and others born here after they emigrated, and her mother was the oldest and my aunt I was the youngest.
Aunt I was my cousin B's mother.
Now I'm all discombobulated, confused, and feel really badly and guilty for not even knowing my own grandmother's name and it's not like I can even ask my mother because she's gone now, too.
and now I'll never know.
So what happened?
Did my mother tell me the wrong information...or did my cousin? She is 75 herself so maybe her memory isn't what it used to be?
But then again, neither is mine.

Yesterday the youngest(age 19) also walked by Beja and did this MEGA burp and it was sooooo loud and his best ever and Beja just jumped and kept barking and it was just sooooo funny I kept cracking up and couldn't stop laughing!
He really got him good!! 😂😁
My Twitter page also got an amazing 144.9K views in just the past 7 days, my best yet.
Wow!!

They also said on the news schools in Toronto are so bad now kids are scared to go in the bathroom. It reminds me of my friend M at camp as a kid who lived in a tenement apt. building and she said you never went on the elevator for the same reason.
I'm just soooo glad we always homeschooled our kids right from the beginning.
Yesterday it was also so hot I even had to spritz myself with a water bottle to cool off tanning from sweating for the first time this season.

Beja also likes ice cream, too(I mean, who doesn't?) and if you look closely, it looks like I have Vitiligo(like Michael Jackson had) on my hand with the skin discolouration. It's an auto-immune disease.
Yet another medical malady I can add to my ever-growing collection.
