Of course.
Doesn't it just figure.
Shit like this always happens when my hubby's away.
Yesterday my computer decided to do some update and re-start and normally I just skip it because I don't trust those things but decided yesterday yeah, why not, I'm going outside and don't need it anyway so I had it go ahead.
Big mistake.
Once it did its thing and came back I got locked out.
For some reason stupid Microsoft said there was some sort of "problem" with my PIN number and I was locked out of my own computer and I couldn't even see the "menu" or anything.
Completely locked out.
They sent me a verification code....only it went to my hubby's phone....and he's away in Montreal until Monday.
So then they sent it to my e-mail....except being locked OUT of my computer how the f*ck am I supposed to access my e-mail?
So I called my hubby frantic in a panic, and luckily his game hadn't started yet so he picked up and what he did(the computer genius that he is) logged-in to my e-mail on his laptop(he luckily brought with him) and got the verification code.
But it wasn't easy.
It took a few tries and me running back & forth out of breath between my computer and the phone and we finally got it all sorted out and I had to re-set my password and PIN but I finally got back in but holy f*ck though!

My hubby also says the hotel is nice and he even has a fridge, a stove, & a microwave, an entire suite, so he's really "moving' on up" (as The Jeffersons would say) as he used to just either sleep in his car or stay at a Fleabag Roach motel where they change the sheets every hour. Yesterday I was also surprised to see a bumblebee flying around in the house so once it landed I deftly caught it between 2 glasses and let it go back outside and I also saw my Angel Bird again and heard Stairway To Heaven , hoping each time that I do that it's a sign I'm dying soon and yet I never do and disappointed again and again.

I also smelled milkweed outside and it brought back happy nostalgic memories of childhood summers at camp and the cottage and I can still remember our grade 5 school 3 day trip to Ottawa and we stayed at the swanky Chateau Laurier hotel and took up an entire floor and how poor J lost her commemrorative coin on the Thousand Islands boat tour and I also think Vlad The Impaler got a "bad rap",too; I don't think he was really that bad; I mean he just impaled his enemies, not his friends, and he was just defending his country and people knew to NOT invade Wallachia and to not mess with him because he didn't take any shit.
I also really miss the 70s and 80s because life was much simpler then and I was so happy.

For a short time today, we stepped outside and felt a little bit of normal life again.-Karen Podhorcova
