Look at this shit!

I finally did my passport re-newal after putting it off but it actually wasn't too bad, unlike the original application this one was only 1 page, 2 sides. The dread of having to do it was actually worse than actually doing it, but look what it said for gender:

Female

Male

X Another gender

X another gender?

Seriously, what is this shit?

There are only TWO genders: male & female

When a baby is born it's announced it's either a boy or a girl.

NOT an "X" or "another" gender.

It's quite simple,really: look in-between the legs: if you have a dick you're male, if you have a pussy you're female.

Alot of other countries don't go for this shit and even reject the document if you check off "X".

So I finally got the dreaded thing done but not without problems, of course, because that's how I roll.

It never said the cost of the new passport on the forms but said to go to their website for the updated and changing fees so I did except of course with my luck the site was down or inaccessable, or whatever so I e-mailed them and am awaiting their reply.

The mailing address they gave was also incomplete; it just said Gatineau with a postal code but no actual street name or number.

F*ck.

Doesn't it just figure?

It's a good thing I started early as it expires in November so hopefully by then I can find out the cost and the mailing address and finally get it sent off.

It also said "Natural eye colour" and so I put in "blue" but then shortly later it kept playing on my mind "What if I read that wrong? It seems kind of odd to ask natural eye colour( as opposed to WHAT?) so maybe I read that wrong and it actually said natural hair colour and I just mis-read it as eye colour and stupidly put in blue instead of grey so now it'll say my HAIR colour is blue and they'll return it so I checked it and it WAS eye colour afterall but I had a little scare there for a bit.

Whew!

I also took this cool photo yesterday and I had a good 4 day break with my hubby gone,too, and every day was sunny and warm and I got to be outside all 4 days and Friday night with that strong wind thousands in this area were without power and even this morning there's still 500 or so left waiting for it to be restored but we were lucky, and a good thing with my hubby away is I'm the first one up and get the hot water and I can smoke mi ganja and blast mi reggae without him here yelling at me, insulting me, complaining or grumbling about my "stupid music" and "smelly weed" but I'm probably also That Neighbour  that everyone hates for smoking outside( yet where else am I supposed to do it?) and my loud music outside but I don't hear well so I have to turn it loud to be able to hear it.

I also heard Stairway To Heaven  on the radio again and saw my Angel Bird.

Traveling outside of Canada made me realize that we’re the 3rd world country.-GirlInThe Verse
