Mr. Flatly.

Beja has this brown & white toy (shown here) that looks like him I named Mr. Flatly  and the other day my hubby saw it at the bottom of the stairs from the side of his eye and it made him jump for a minute as he thought it was him and it was kind of scary for a moment because it's really flat and looks like a roadkill or a wall hanging! I also heard Stairway To Heaven twice, yesterday and this morning and I have been watching this little baby robin for the past few days on our back porch as well and I can tell it is as it doesn't have its true feathers in yet but brown "speckles" on its chest instead of the orange and I saw its parent feeding it and then later on it refused, encouraging it to eat on its own, to wean it, which it eventually did and I was so happy, thinking, "Yay! Good for you!" but I also noticed the parent would fly close by and land near it but from a close distance observing it, just to make sure Junior was ok and actually was eating. I saw a hawk flying low overhead as well so I quickly hustled Beja back inside the house and I accidently called Alexa "Alexei" but it still responded regardless.

We also had a brief thunderstorm last night just before I went to bed and saw this rainbow out the back door I was able to get a photo of,  and there's a new bridge between here and USA soon to open called the Gordie Howe Bridge I thought was named after the Tragically Hip frontman who died from the brain tumour but it turned out that was Gord Downie  and Gordie Howe was some hockey player, and I saw these guys on TV licking caviar off the back of their hands like doing a "bump" of coke  and I thought it was just so gross and so.......Neanderthal;  in Russia we always ate it on top of hard boiled eggs or on on little crackers, with blini( pancakes)etc. and if I said something about a neighbour like, "She's the type that would smoke meth on the weekends" my mother would add, "I don't think she'd wait until the weekend" and then we'd both howl with laughter and I miss that. Sometimes we "complimented" eachother and were a good "team" and I miss  that(and that connection).....but then she also was really critical,  cruel, nasty, emotionally abusive, and demeaning to me as well and I don't miss that.

Living in this world is so fucking tiring. people are so relentlessly mean and I’m so tired of it.-Shav Shawz
