I hate living in Canada. It's a very primitive country with horrific public transport, expensive universities, terrible doctors, asshole cops, incompetent idiots in every profession, crazy taxes, fortune–priced housing, some greedy goddamn monopoly in every consumer industry, a piece of shit government, total inaction and arrogant rhetoric in everything, a job market that is very hostile to immigrants and forces them to restart from zero, “the Graveyard of Minds" as one friend put it where you see so many experienced, educated foreigners wasting their lives in minimum wage drudgery, a nonexistent dating scene for average men, a religion of radical feminist LGBT degeneracy, a brainwashed population and a complete and total lack of real culture.
Only in Canada could a top corporate auto executive in his 50s from Egypt immigrate and find no work but as a convenience store cashier. Only in Canada! I've seen it with my own eyes!
(Note, the auto executive obviously isn't me. He's a friend of mine.)
The cost of living is absolutely exploding. My monthly heating bill just came in — $250, and I only live with my brother and winter has barely started. Why? Enbridge claims it's because of the war in Ukraine. Bahaha. Canada is an oil giant! We produce more natural gas than we consume. What does Ukraine have to do with anything over here?
Why is our water bill pushing $100 a month? Canada has one of the biggest supplies of freshwater of any country in the world. I live right on humungous Lake Ontario, the size of the country of Slovenia, and the smallest of Canada's 5 Great Lakes. Yet the water bill was way lower in desert Egypt.
It's a place for you to work like a slave, get taxed to death, then get screwed on everything you have to pay for to survive, so that in the end you're just able to afford a very basic lifestyle. I work 50 hours a week for around $4,000 a month after tax and I won't even get a car because as a new driver I don't want to pay $450 a month in mandatory auto insurance.
I make $20 an hour and I work in manufacturing and work damn hard, so why do I have to pay an oral hygienist almost $300 an hour for a dental cleaning?
And getting my own place? Uhh, yeah. I really look forward to sacrificing something like $1,599 each month, 40 percent of my income, to rent a studio apartment as if I'm living in downtown Hong Kong but actually live in a remote suburb of Toronto where buses might be 25 minutes late and where I'd need to commute 2 hours to get to most big places. Thank fuck my job is nearby.
If you're in what is considered a Third World country but have a good income, don't come here. Holy shit, at least a good income in a Third World country actually gets you things. Discretionary income, luxuries, travel, cheap labour you can hire to make everyday things easier, marriage, peace of mind. An upper–middle class single dude in India or Pakistan probably lives more comfortably and fulfillingly than me.
In Canada I feel like I'm working for free.
