My Favourite Things.

Of all my things, my posessions, and stuff I own and that's in my house that are my favourite things, here they are:

My Buddy.

The best thing to have ever happened to me.

Real taxidermied armadillo.I love armadillos and I have this on a shelf in my bedroom. I bought it decades ago and had it shipped from Texas. It cost something like 200$ but it's one of those unique special things. I can relate to armadillos,too; coated in a hard protective armour on the outside but soft and squishy underneath.

Dachshund painting the 21 YR old gave me as a Christmas gift a few years ago. It looks just like Buddy. I have it on my bedroom wall.

Mother and baby hippo bronze statue. My hubby gave this to me years ago for a Christmas present. It sits on my bedside table in my bedroom. It is by far the best present I ever got and one of my most prized possessions.

Bath-bombs. I love them soooo much. This particular one is lavender and turned the bath water purple and smells just sooooo goooood.

Louis XV chair. I bought it decades ago in Ottawa but I can't even remember what store.When the 19 YR old lived here she was always trying to get me to sell it, saying I could get at least 2K for it but I won't. I like my chair!

Monet Water Lilies painting.I got it from an art dealer in Ottawa decades ago and I always assumed it was a replica but then when I saw it has the paper and wire behind it , it makes me wonder.....Wouldn't it be "funny" though if it was an authentic and all these years we have a million$$$+ painting hanging on our wall?

Grandfather clock. I also, of course, like the bust and sunflowers beside it. Nice touch, don't ya think? This is my fave. vantage point to look at when I'm sitting in the livingroom on the couch.
