Dolma.

Yesterday I went to the store to pick up some last minute things with my hubby and you'll never guess what I found at the deli?
Dolma!
Brine-soaked grape vine leaves stuffed with rice, a cold appetizer common in the Middle East and Greece! I just love them and haven't had it for so long and was really surprised to see it here so of course I bought some and this morning there's only 2 left in the container! HA! I remember when I used to make them, too, back when I used to do alot of cooking. I love Mediterranean food....and also Indian, Mexican, Chinese,Italian,. etc. I just don't like British and Japanese food; British food is gross and has no taste and why do  they mush up their peas like baby food, anyway, and Japanese food has too much yucky fish!

The 29 YR old also has to water his boss' cannabis plants while he's away on vacation and he says he has a brand-new baby seedling too that just sprouted ,and I feel so utterly retarded due to my autism as well: he went out the other day and told me he was expecting groceries delivered and asked me to listen for the door and to bring them in, so I did...and I thought he would be back shortly, like an hour or so, but he was gone over 3 hours, and I completely forgot about the groceries, still sitting in the hallway, and it never even occurred to me to put them away, because my autistic brain just doesn't think that way; because:
(1) He never asked me to put them away; he just asked me to bring them inside, which I did.
(2) It's not my job to put his groceries away so I left them for him to do when he got back.
(3) I didn't look inside the bags to notice there was meat in there.
(4) It completely slipped my mind and after I brought them in I forgot all about them.
....then he said that there was meat  in there and chastised me for NOT putting it away in the fridge (so it wouldn't go rotten) even though he never told me to and now I feel really badly, and really stupid.
That's what life with autism is like.

My hippopottoman also arrived yesterday too even though they'd originally said 4 months and it's just been over a month! Yay! First of all my hubby just said to me to get dressed and get some ID as we have to go....and I got all panicked and worried thinking my mother died or something and I had to go and ID the body but then he said it had arrived and I had to go pick it up! I love it and Buddy was exploring it as well( shown below) and he tried to bite the ears too(probably attracted by the leather scent?) but luckily the Old Timer only has 3 teeth left! The 29 YR old says he likes it,too, and he was also cooking a stew yesterday on the stove that simmered for hours and the entire house just smelled soooo good and it just drove poor Buddy crazy!

The 16 YR old is also now volunteering 3 times a week at the Thrift store (I call the "Peasant" store) like the 20 YR old used to do as a teen,  and no one even told me,either, and they were just waiting to see how long it took me to "notice" (and ask) where he was going all the time( a week; I just thought he was going to his friend's house) and I saw a 24 YR old  Dachshund online the other day as well, and it's beyond my wildest dreams and wish that my Sweet Boy lives another 6 years, and I have also come to the conclusion that I am an Empath, a Starseed, and an Old Soul, and I think I have "conditioned" the neighbours too to expect when they see my hubby go out in the car that shortly after to see me sitting outside on the back porch smoking weed.I also found this old photo of some of the kids and I mucking around in the lake.

Who set the world on fire? Who set the world on fire? It was me, I set the world on fire.-Stick Figure
