FFF.

This is my FFF. My Favourite Facebook Friend. But he's more than "just" a "Facebook friend." We've been friends for at least 10 years, maybe even 15.
He's also dying.
His name is Ismael and he's 73 years old and lives in Florida.
The last time I heard from him was over 2 weeks ago and he was having a biopsy done on his kidney....and  I just saw a recent posting his sister put up an update on him: he has been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer which has spread to his spine and skull and he's been in the hospital for the past 2 weeks and has worsened in the past week.
I'm just stunned with shock and sadness.
He is more than just my friend. We are like kindred spirits.
He is practically like the male version of me. We have so much in common, from a strong faith in God, loving animals(esp. dogs, and he has 4 of them), music, weed, are both peace-loving old hippies, and even share a mutual  hatred of Trump, too. We are connected spiritually, not in a romantic sense. He is like my Brother From Another Mother and this news really hits me hard and hurts my heart. I love him like a brother. He is also a Vietnam War vet and he said not much scares him and it takes alot to scare him but this really scares him.
Poor guy.
It seems like everyone is dying lately and I'm losing everyone I love.

As well, one of the reporters on the news had a kidney transplant 5 years ago it's failing now and she needs another one and she's just in her early 40's and the actor who plays Charlie on the show Hudson & Rex that my mother liked also is battling cancer and he's 49( although I thought he looked much younger) and for the past few days my stomach really hurts as well. One of the kids also has a snowboard that says Sick since 1996  and it made me laugh and think about myself Sick since 2012 as I've been sick and had all my medical issues since I was 45 and had my gallbladder removed. It also feels like everything's coming to an end, wrapping up,and coming to a close now, too.

I also got my ticket for Come From Away in the mail yesterday and it's an old-fashioned ticket stub like we used to get back int he 80's and I love it as I get to keep part as a souvenir/momento afterwards like I used to be able to do with concert tickets back in the day before the stupid things all went on cell phones( which I don't even have, anyway!) and I even got an orchestra seat, too, which is really close and right up at the front but my hubby said he got me a good close-up seat because he knows I can't see well but it surprised me because we usually just get the cheapest seats! He also said the 28 YR old's BF sold his house, and when I asked the Google Home device to turn off the light and it did I said gracias and it replied, You';re very welcome! it made me laugh but it would have been cooler if it has said de nada.

Today it's also going up to 11 C and 17 C tomorrow and then getting colder again and I heard several Canadian cities are now taking down American flags too but my question is WHY do they even having them flying in the first place? This isn't USA, and Israel now broke the ceasefire in Gaza, too, and bombed it killing over 200 people, and I saw the kid at the corner ( age 3 or so?) riding in a kid-size remote-control Jeep the dad controlled and it was so cool, and sometimes I get a bad feeling about the 30 YR old's GF,too, I hope it just me being a concerned mother not wanting my boy to be used or end up hurt and nothing more, and I also found out the family my hubby likes so much and they hang out with with and do Dungeons & Dragons with (and who are also the youngests's friend's parents and the woman I think is my hubby's mistress) do weed too( and gave the 30 YR old edibles) which my hubby never knew and it made me laugh so I wonder now if he's going to start hating them now, too, because he's so judgemental and anti-weed?

If someone kills me the jokes on him.-Neil Hanson
