Thank you for today.
That's what I said to both my hubby and to God yesterday.
I had such a wunnerbar-gut day!
I went to Toronto and saw Come From Away (which was on my Bucket List) and I knew it was going to be good but it was even better than I was hoping for! It had been 6 months since I've been in the city, too( when I saw the ELO concert in September) and I always love being back; it reminds me of my Old Life and I always feel so "free", like the Old Me, like I'm coming out of my "shell" almost and we weren't that far from my Old house and I wanted to stop by and visit and see how it's doing now and even though it was only like 5 minutes or so away ( we were on Pape at the time and it's on Gerrard St.E) my hubby said it would still somehow take 21 minutes and we'd be late so I had to forget that idea. This was also originally the shirt I was going to wear; the fancy sequin thing I bought on a cruise almost 20 years ago,too....
except when I put it on it was waaaay too tight!
I had gained so much weight since then it was really snug and I looked like an over-stuffed sausage so I had to switch but it sort of worked out as for matinee performances no one dressed up (like they do for evening ones) and just wore their street clothes( filthy unwashed peasants, ha,ha) so I would have been over-dressed.

It was such a beautiful old building, too, the kind I love, with the intricate ceilings and woodwork and fireplace, seen here. and I had to wear a diaper as there was no intermission except it was too small too( it was one of my mother's left-over ones) and I could hardly even pull it up all the way and my flabby gut hung over like an apron and half of my flabby ass also hung over, picture a fat guy with a big beer gut wearing a tiny Speedo and you sort of get the idea, so I had to cut up one side. A lady also said she liked mi dreads and I got an amazing seat, too: just 4 rows right from the front so I had a great view, and the set was simple; just tables and chairs, and they talked with what sounded sort of like Irish accents as that's apparantly what Newfies sound like, too.

My hubby also scolded me along the way for singing too loud belting out Bohemian Rhapsody singing along with my Ipod which I brought along for the 2 HR drive each way but you have to sing out loud along to that song, and he snarled it was "distracting" and I said it's just instinct and he goes, Do you want to sing .....or die? and I said, Either one, and at least if I die I'll go listening to a real banger!! On the way home we also saw at least easily 12 firetrucks and a bunch of police cars and ambulances at a highrise apt. so something big was obviously going down and we also for the last hour (at least) we were also on the highway right next to the 30 YR old's boss! What are the odds of that? We knew it was him because it had his name and business on his truck and when we peeked in the window it was him! The funny thing is he never knew we were there and it would have looked like we were "following" him the entire time and he had no idea! HA! The 30 YR old also goes back to work tomorrow, too!

The walls also had this old-fashioned "French bordello" velvet wallpaper like my aunt had in the 70's(only hers was blue) and the 30 YR old got back just 30 minutes before we did, too, and he fed Buddy and let him out to pee and he said he did a really biiiig one as he had held it all day, for the whole 8 HRS I was gone( and I had expected a big mess on the floor to clean up when I got home!) and he was barking and crying for me as well, missing me, and when I got back he was snuggling with the 30 YR old on my hubby's recliner chair and so happy to see me. I missed him, too, and was afraid he would be dead when I got back with my "luck". My hubby was also hammering loudly at 10:30 pm when I was trying to sleep, and the youngest turns 18 on the 25th!

Yesterday was such a great day!
I haven't had a day like that in sooooo long and I really needed it.
Thank you,God.

You don't need a ticket to fly with me, I'm free, yeah.-Ozzy Osbourne
