Daily Truth.

Arthur Itis And The Big-Ass Burrito.

Check out the yummy big-ass burrito I had yesterday(and also shown below; it looks like a baked potato!) it's soooo big I even saved half for my lunch today! It has pretty much everything in it except for onions, olives, gaucamole and radish...because ewww!!
and it has extra cilantro!
I know I'm not really supposed to have beans with my colon issues but sometimes you just have to say f*ck it and eat it anyway and just pay the price and suffer anyway afterwards because it's just so good ( just like my mother's father with his stomach ulcers which would bleed and rupture if he ate spicy food but he liked it so much he would often eat it anyway and just suffer later) and now today I'm paying the price. My hubby also finally found the Scottish shortbread I have been looking for forever(they moved it from the cookie section to the crackers section! Who the f*ck does that?) and the biscotti(he had no idea what it even was even though I sent a photo with him) but he finally asked a store employee who found it) and my hubby must have also broke a record as well: 7 days in a row playing pickleball but his "streak" ends as today it's raining with a possible thunderstorm and he plays outside as he can't afford the inside fees.

He also got his test results back about his "agonizing" 10/10 shoulder pain.....and it's just arthritis! ("Arthur Itis") so luckily NOT cancer, thank god, no tumours showed up or anything, but he's a real weenie(that obviously doesn't know real pain!!) thinking arthritis is that painful and I have Rheumatoid arthritis ( the BIG Boy of arthritis) and it's not THAT bad.Sure it hurts and sometimes I get really stiff and sore but nowhere near a 10!  I told him I was right and it's proof he's just old and decrepit and falling apart (I started when I was just 45)and he says KIDS can get arthritis, too! and now goes around telling people he has Jeuvenile arthritis, not wanting to admit he's old, ha,ha!  Yesterday I also saw something for the first time I haven't seen in 3 months: a school bus, and I can't believe summer's already over( not technically, but vacation summer) and schools are back already and it's already September, but my kids have all graduated and moved on so I'm retired after some 30 years of homeschooling and I didn't 'enjoy" it but it was best for the kids so I have no regrets.

A 12 YR old (I was still playing with Barbie when I was 12!)was also charged with attempted murder in Markham( near Toronto) for a shooting( my god, they start so young now!) and on just the second day of school there was a gun fight between 2 groups of teens outside a highschool in Toronto as well. Holy f*ck, it just gets worse with each generation and I bet my fave. highschool( which was good when I went) the students are probably all thugs now!  The 30 YR old also says his GF quit her dental hygenist course as you can only advance if you have a 98% average (and with so much math and chemistry she probably failed it; I know I would!!) and it costs a whopping 100K  to continue so now she's taking para-legal which she likes and I have no doubt as she likes to sue people and currently has 2-3 lawsuits going on.

I also heard there's this movie or TV show or whatever called The Summer I Turned Pretty  and it made me laugh because I'm still waiting for that, ha,ha, and I also wonder if the time I'll die is 3:15 pm as that was always my fave. time since schools in Toronto got out at 3:15 so it was my fave. time of day although now I love sunset, and yesterday Beja kept licking at and pawing at my right boob, so I either had some food stain on my shirt  he was working on or he was trying to alert me maybe I have breast cancer( as dogs can detect cancer) and it seems like I'm just "borrowing" him at times as well; that he's just mine temporarily to heal me so does that perhaps mean I'm dying soon?
In the meantime there are dogs, sunshine, weed, and music.

I'm learning to fly (Learning to fly) But I ain't got wings Coming down is the hardest thing I'm learning to fly (Learning to fly) Around the clouds But what goes up (Learning to fly) Must come down I'm learning to fly (Learning to fly, learning to fly).-Tom Petty

How To Spot An Autistic.

I found this on Quora.
Can you spot any of us?

No one set of signs will apply to any one person, and no ONE sign can indicate autism.

However, a few common signs are:

Autistic people are usually quite comfortable being home alone or doing things alone.

A preference to interact with others one-on-one, or in small groups, among familiar people and in relatively quiet places, rather than going out in large groups, or to attend noisy gatherings of strangers. If you think going out to a new, loud, crowded dance club to “meet new people” sounds exciting and your friend either makes excuses not to go or seems miserable if they go along to be nice — they may be autistic.

Really liking routine, and being anxious when normal daily routines are abruptly disrupted.

Avoiding small talk, and/or responding to small talk with facts or thoughtful, informative answers. Example: if you meet me for the first time and comment on the weather by saying, “I wonder why it’s been so hot lately,” I do not hear that as “social words.” I hear that as a request for information as to WHY it has been so hot, and I will provide a meteorological answer.

“Adult fidgeting” - it is often difficult for autistics to sit still for long periods. Adults may fidget, or “stim,” by tapping feet or fingers, getting up frequently to do a small task, stroking something nearby like the arm of a chair, folding or fidgeting with small objects, crossing an uncrossing legs, doodling on a notepad, humming, or many other things. It’s hard to explain, but it is as though we have a buildup of kinetic energy that frequently needs to be released in small ways. If you go to a movie theater with your autitstic friend, you may notice that he or she repositions frequently during the film.

Having very, very deep special interests unrelated to what they do for a living. You, for example, may like to knit from time to time — maybe you get out your needles and yarn to make a baby gift or a few hats for Christmas. But your autistic friend may have a self-taught PhD-level of interest in the history of knitting, how yarn is produced, breeds of sheep, etc. Your autistic friend may also have several of these deep-dive interests, and they may or may not be related to one another. My own deep-dive special interests outside of my work (animal care) include knitting, medieval European history, historical clothing, weather and World War Two.

Most autistic people I know are uncomfortable being observed. This is difficult to explain. For example, I am quite comfortable being observed if, for example, I am teaching you how to leash-train your puppy, but if you were to walk down the hall while I am making the bed and stop in the doorway to observe me for no particular reason, it makes me anxious.

There are many other signs of autism in adults, but these are a few common ones.

Larf For Today.

Flight Path.

I saw another Monarch  butterfly( my fave!) yesterday and it's odd: for the past 3 days I always see one fly by at the exact same time every day, between 3 pm and 3: 30 pm so I wonder if it's maybe a sign of something or just that our yard is in their flight path? I hope they don't go extinct though as they've always been my fave. butterflies and I remember growing up seeing all kinds of them. Yesterday Beja also barked at thunder and didn't whimper and hide like a pussy either but faced it and barked like a "man" but I think I might have figured out what scared him and made him skittish and fearful: for the past couple of nights when it's time for bed he'll run and hide under the diningroom table, and he doesn't snuggle entwined in my legs anymore now, either; now he stays on the pillow all night, making me think something happened to him in bed during the night like I maybe had another nocturnal seizure again and possibly hit or kicked him or rolled over onto him and squished him and it traumatized him, making him esp. feel hurt and betrayed as I wasn't conscious and able to react to his distress and stop and help him?

I also got my weed delivery yesterday only it didn't come until 8:30 pm even though I ordered it at 1:30 pm and I got all worried they'd forgotten about me and it cost almost twice as much as usual too because I not only had to buy the usual pre-rolls but now also dried flower for my bong( "James Bong") as well as I haven't had any from the 30 YR old's boss in a long time so now I had to buy it,  and the grass is back to green now as well, and  today is the last nice warm 25 C and then it cools down but still a cold 8 C in the mornings and I could even see my breath! I also noticed someone locked my laundry detergent pods( the stupid child-proof thing) so I couldn't open it and use them, forcing me to use the new one the 30 YR old bought, but I just used a knife and popped the entire lid off. I happen to like my pods as the nice smell is the best part of laundry; having nice scented pillowcases and towels, etc. F*ck that non-scented shit, and I'm not "catering" to the 30 YR old's GF! She's not even family!

I also heard it's common for people with autism to have a bad sense of direction( and I know *I* do!) which might explain why my hubby always gets lost ( and he's notorious for always getting lost trying to find the kids' friends' houses, even when he's been there before) and one of my cousins in Europe is in Florida on vacation with a friend and I hope they don't get detained by ICE as they're not too "fond" of foreigners, and my friend P( from grade 6) usually travels internationally (like I do) but now is doing a Canadian vacay and is in Nova Scotia for a holiday and I bet it cost even more than going to Europe, esp. the airfare!

Someone also used an excavator to steal an ATM which I heard generally has between 50K and 200K in any given machine so they made off with a pretty good haul, and the moment I knew my mother was dying(and wasn't going to recover) was in the ICU when she said, I have to go  and My parents are waiting  and then I had no doubt in my mind it was her Time and it's when I had them call in a priest to administer the Sacrament Of The Sick (The "Last Rites") and I'm so glad that I did, and now I no longer have any more future, hopes, dreams, or aspirations anymore other than dying and being with Buddy again and as much as I love Beja he's not Buddy and it's just not the same, and I heard somewhere as well once on the Other Side you have a choice of eternal life OR deleting yourself and as much as eternal life sounds good I'd only want it if I wasn't me; NOT how I look, feel, and am now; only if I find happiness, peace, healing, love, acceptance, inclusion, and am reunited with Buddy again. If not, deleting my entire existance sounds pretty good....
